XI international conference «Сonfectionery of the XXI century» will be held on the 13-15 of February in Moscow. Executive Partner of Depot WPF Lukanina Anna will tell the conference attendees about development of the snack’s category in the format of the report from supermarkets of Russia, Germany,Taiwan, China and Brazil.

«The latest cross-category trends: product, brand, design. The development of snack category. The report from the supermarkets of Russia, Germany,Taiwan, China and Brazil» that is the name of the Anna’s report. Her speech will be in the context of focus-session «Market, marketing and packaging».

«Despite the snack’s category is one of the most promising and fastest growing segment of packed goods  on the Russian market, it is still very young and its rules are still establishing, - Anna Lukanina says. – We give the name “snacks” to completely different products by its nature and focus.
Earlier it was all clear that by «snacks», we mean chips, bake rolls and sweet bars. But now in this category we can name dozens of old and new products for the consumers – from seeds to the dried lotus fruits. In my report I will tell about what’s new in this category in Russia and other countries, who forms the trends and show Russian and international cases.»

XI international conference «Сonfectionery of the XXI century» is taking place for the 11 time by International Industrial Academy with the support of the  Agriculture Ministry of the Russian Federation.
The event will also include several thematic exhibitions and international show of pastry products “Traditions and Innovations”. The whole programme of the event you can find here
