Is it possible to express the wine character and taste using only geometrical figures and shadows? Our designer has tried.
Wine packaging design is at the same time a difficult 'genre' with its own traditions and rules, and ideal territory for experiments – many successful projects in this sphere prove that literally anything can be put onto the wine bottle label. We decided to experiment with geometry and shadows.
"I tried to reflect the wine character with minimalistic graphic tools – plain geometrical forms and shadows. From my point of view, inspite of minimalism, the story turned out to be rather emotional", says the author of the concept Nikita Ivanov.
Behind neutral at first sight illustrations it's possible to guess friskiness and lightness or vice versa, taste intension and 'weight'.
